Questions & answers

What Inedito is, how it works, how we stay independent, and the hard problems behind giving everyone a personal curator. This page grows as we go. A question we didn't answer? Write us.

The basics
What is Inedito?

Inedito is your personal curator for what's worth your time. You have a short conversation so it learns your taste, then a team of agents finds the products, places, and experiences that fit you and brings you a small, considered selection. The point is simple: help you make better decisions about what you buy, and get more out of your life.

How is it different from a search engine or a shopping site?

There's no search box. You don't go hunting and wade through ranked results; Inedito brings you a few things chosen for you. And nothing in it is paid placement, so what you see is what fits you, not what a brand paid to put there.

How is it different from asking ChatGPT?

A chatbot answers the moment you ask and forgets you the moment you leave. Inedito works continuously, learns your taste over time, checks its facts and prices against real sources, and has nothing paid pushing its picks. On why that last part matters, see how accurate today's AI is about products below.

How it works
How does it learn my taste?

It starts with a conversation, not a form. A few minutes about what you love, what you'd never buy, and where you'd like it looking. From there it sharpens every time you react to what it shows you. You're always in charge.

What do you mean by "a team of agents"?

Software that does the looking and the thinking for you: searching the spaces you care about, checking facts and prices, and bringing back only what fits. It works in the background while you sleep, work, or work out.

Do I have to check it all the time?

No. It's built to be quiet, the opposite of a feed. A daily edition is one way it reaches you, and you can talk to it any time by voice or text, on your phone or your laptop. It comes to you; you never have to keep up with it.

Do I search for things in Inedito?

No, there's no search box. You don't hunt through ranked results; Inedito brings you a few things chosen for you, before you'd think to look. You can still hand it a specific need any time ("find me a gift by Friday"), but you'll never face a query box and a wall of results to sort through.

Independence, and how we make money
Can a brand pay to be in my selection?

No. Never. No brand can buy placement, ranking, or attention in anything Inedito recommends. The best products earn their place by fitting you, not by outspending everyone. Chosen, never pushed.

If not ads, how does Inedito make money?

It's free to start, with a premium tier for more frequency, length, and personalization, never better picks. Quality is the same for everyone. When you buy something through Inedito, we may earn the same kind of affiliate fee a magazine earns. It never changes what we recommend, and we tell you where we'd earn one.

What's a Public Benefit Corporation, and why does it matter?

Inedito is built by Toneeto, PBC, a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation: a company legally bound to a mission beyond profit. Ours includes never selling your attention. It means our commitment to working for you, not for sellers, is written into how the company is built, not just promised in marketing.

The hard part
Why is this actually hard?

Three problems, mostly. Knowing one person deeply from very little, without the engagement metrics every other system leans on. Making picks you can trust, when the facts underneath are often wrong. And doing it cheaply enough to give everyone their own, not just the few who could always afford a personal buyer.

How accurate is today's AI about products?

Less than you'd hope. We ran 180 product questions past the leading AI assistants and scored their answers against verified data. The best, Grok, was right about 73% of the time; Claude landed near 61% and ChatGPT near 49%. On price, the fact that matters most when you're buying, every one of them was at its worst. (That's our own testing, a snapshot in time, and models keep improving.) It's why Inedito never takes an AI's word as the truth: every claim it makes has to trace to a real source, and prices are re-checked before they reach you.

How do you keep it affordable for everyone?

Done the obvious way, a smart model reasoning over every option for every person every day, this costs far more per month than most people would pay. The engineering we're built around is keeping the cost of a great recommendation low as it scales to everyone, without ever making the picks worse. It's the difference between a luxury for a few and a buyer for everyone.

How do you make sure it shows me new things, not just more of the same?

That's one of the hardest parts. The easiest things to find are the already-famous, and any system that knows your taste will keep handing you the familiar. So we deliberately reserve room for the genuinely new, the thing just past the edge of what you love. A curator that only mirrors you back isn't a curator.

Your data and privacy
What do you do with my data?

We use what you tell us to curate for you, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, and we don't rent your attention to advertisers. As a Public Benefit Corporation, that's a commitment we're structurally bound to. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

Getting in
When can I use it?

The private alpha is open in small waves. Request an invite at the top of inedito.ai — and if you tell us one purchase you're stuck on, your brief goes to the front of the line.

Is it free?

Yes, free to start. A premium tier will add more frequency, length, and personalization later, but never better picks.

Who's behind it?

Toneeto, PBC, a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation based in Mountain View, California. Inedito is its first product.
