Privacy Policy
Who we are
Inedito is a product of Toneeto, PBC, a Delaware public benefit corporation based in Mountain View, California. This policy explains what we collect on inedito.ai and in the Inedito service, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions, requests, anything: hello@inedito.ai.
The short version
We collect what we need to run Inedito and nothing more. We never sell your personal information, and no brand can pay to influence what Inedito recommends to you. You are the customer, not the product.
What we collect
- Waitlist. Your email address when you request an invite, with the time of your request.
- Site analytics. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects usage data (pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type) so we can understand how the site is used.
- Server logs. Our hosting providers (Amazon Web Services) keep standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and operations.
- During the alpha. If you join, Inedito will ask about your taste — what you love, what you're tired of — and will keep a taste profile, your feedback, and your usage of the service so it can choose better for you. We will update this policy with specifics before the alpha opens.
How we use it
To send your invitation and occasional service updates; to operate, secure, and improve the site and service; and, during the alpha, to personalize what Inedito finds for you. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not run ads.
What we never do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not let brands pay for placement, ranking, or attention in anything Inedito recommends. Your taste profile is not a data product.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers who help us run Inedito: Amazon Web Services (hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Google (analytics), each bound to use it only to provide their service to us. If you buy something through a link Inedito provides, the retailer or an affiliate network may know the click came from our site; they never receive your taste profile. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a corporate transaction, in which case this policy continues to govern.
Retention and deletion
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Email hello@inedito.ai at any time to access, correct, or delete your information; we act on requests within 30 days.
Your rights
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live (including California and the European Economic Area), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Write to hello@inedito.ai to exercise any of these rights. We will never treat you differently for doing so.
Cookies
The site uses Google Analytics cookies and strictly necessary cookies only. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them. You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out.
Children
Inedito is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
International users
We operate from the United States. If you use Inedito from elsewhere, your information is processed and stored in the US.
Changes
We will post updates to this policy here with a new effective date. If a change is material and we have your email, we will tell you directly.
